What is Hypnotherapy?
It is a form of deep relaxation that lets the therapist talk to your subconscious mind to make positive changes.
I can’t be hypnotised-Are you sure?
Many people are in a state of hypnosis and not aware of it. Think of your journey to work. Do you remember every twist and turn? You don’t need to, because your subconscious drives for you. What about when you learnt to drive and you used to think about every gear change now you don’t even think about it your subconscious mind does that for you. Every day dreamed? Then you are capable of hypnosis.
Will I lose control?
Absolutely not. You remain in control at all times you are simply in a deeply relaxed state so messages can be placed in your long term memory making it easy to achieve your changes.
What can you use hypnosis for?
There are so many things that hypnosis can be used for. If you lack confidence you can use it to boost your confidence, to help with self-esteem, to aid weight loss, to stop smoking, to help with phobias and fears, to help with learning and exams.
When is the right time to use hypnosis?
When you have decided to make a positive change in your life and are committed to that change. Then the hypnosis will work supporting you with that positive change. For example you may have tried a carbohydrate free diet and felt awful on it. Hypnosis can help you control your portions so you don’t have to go on an exclusion diet and feel miserable. You get the result you want but it is so much easier to achieve.
